NOTE: The Community Garden will be tilled in the beginning of May.
The City of Charlevoix Community Garden has been available to residents since the 1960’s. It is located off of State Street, just north of Harbor Industries and is comprised of 80 plots that measure approximately 24 feet by 24 feet each. There is water on site and the garden is tilled each spring before planting. To view an aerial map of the garden plots, please Click here.
Folks wanting to grown their own flowers or vegetables can lease a plot for $42 each with a limit of two plots per family until June 1st. Plants are to be annuals only – no berries, perennials, trees, etc. Gardeners who had a plot last year are given the right of first refusal for their plot(s) this season.
To reserve a plot(s) complete the Garden Plot Application and return it to the Clerk’s Office with a check made out to the "City of Charlevoix". The Clerk's office is located on the second floor in City Hall.
