MARION CENTER PROPERTY SALE
The City of Charlevoix will accept bids for the vacant lot located at 1522 Bridge Street until Monday, May 22, 2017 at 10:00 am EDT at the office of the City Clerk, City of Charlevoix, 210 State Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Marion Center Property Bid” on the exterior of the package. Emailed, faxed, and late proposals will not be accepted for any reason.
The property has 143’ of street frontage on Bridge Street (US 31) and is slightly irregular shape with 44,000 sq ft more or less or 0.74 acres. The property is zoned General Commercial.
Bids should include a clear and final purchase price for the property. The buyer may also indicate the proposed use for the site and the timeline for development. The City Council may consider the use of the site as a factor when awarding the sale.

PAVEMENT MARKING SERVICES
Sealed bids are now being accepted by the City of Charlevoix for Pavement Marking of Roadways and Parking Lots.
Bids will be received in a clearly marked envelope labeled - “Pavement Marking Bids 2017”, until 10:00 A.M, local time, May 4, 2017, at the Charlevoix City Clerk’s office 210 State Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720 at which time they shall be publicly opened and read. The City of Charlevoix reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in their best interest.

TAXIWAY A REHABILITATION
The City of Charlevoix is seeking sealed bids for the rehabilitation of Taxiway A at the Charlevoix Municipal Airport. The proposed Work includes the following: Approximately 5,000 tons of new bituminous asphalt airfield pavement, rehabilitation of existing asphalt pavement, drainage improvements, taxiway edge lighting and signage improvements, new REIL’s, pavement markings, and restoration. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for this project will be held on May 2, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the City of Charlevoix City Hall, located at 210 State Street, Charlevoix, Michigan 49720.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Charlevoix Clerk, at City Hall, 210 State Street, Charlevoix, Michigan, 49720, until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on May 11, 2017, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. CITY HALL HVAC UPGRADES
The City of Charlevoix is requesting sealed, competitive bids for the purpose of HVAC upgrades for City Hall, 210 State St Charlevoix MI 49720, as outlined in the Contract Documents. The work includes chiller replacement, boiler replacement, minisplit replacement, temperature control commissioning with upgrades and preventative maintenance bids. Bids will be received by Joyce Golding, City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 [Addendum Bid Opening], at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid shall be submitted in a sealed package clearly marked as “City Hall HVAC Bid”. Packages should be sent or dropped off to: Charlevoix City Clerk, 210 State St, Charlevoix, MI 49720. Electronic or facsimile bids will not be considered. Late bids will not be considered.
Project specifications may be viewed on Tuesday April 18, in the City Manager’s Office, 210 State St Charlevoix MI 49720. Project specifications will also be available online and available for purchase at Contractors’ Cost at the Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan.
There will be a pre-bid inspection scheduled after a bidders list is established. Attendance is only mandatory for Prime Mechanical Bidders.

The City of Charlevoix reserves the right to accept or reject any or all part of the bid for any and all reasons and to waive irregularities deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Charlevoix, and reserves the right to select a contractor other than the low bidder without cause.
