The 67-slip Charlevoix City Marina, located at the base of East Park in downtown Charlevoix, is
equipped with floating docks, a boaters’ lounge, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Other services,
including diesel and gasoline, pump-outs, marine repairs, and marine supplies are provided by
Ward Brothers’ Boats, located adjacent to the marina.
Slip reservations can be made by using the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Reservation
System at www.midnrreservations.com, or by calling (800)-447-2757. Slip availability may be very
limited throughout the summer months due to festivals and events in downtown Charlevoix, and no
reservations are available during the final three days of the Venetian Festival (see the Venetian Festival website).
For general questions, or more information on docking facilities, contact Harbormaster Hal Evans
(or any of his staff) at (231) 547-3272 during the boating season. For those on the water, the
marina monitors VHF channel 09 only.
The City of Charlevoix offers seasonal dockage for dinghies and jet skis at the marina. The City Council sets the fees on an annual basis.
